***Announcing ZBrush 4 for Windows And MacOSX

oh well i will have to wait till 2oros lot, one more sleep maybe lol. happy zbrushing every one who gets it today go and create some fantastic art work, and post up the new features.

Now you say it… I think I too was looking “lost passwords”, but I think remember for me works. Anyway, if exist any type of problem with Cleverbridge (where surely are getting ready all the system right now), who’s gonna fix it gonna be Pixo. So my help offering still standing.

dk79, they are Pixo, do you remember?. If Pixologic changes its name some day, they should rename like “LastMinute”. So like user, learn to love it!.

Time to joke!, like Kenji87. I just to dinner pizza too. Prawns and chili.

What is happening here?
Everyone had pizza for dinner???
I had a prosciutto and mozzarella pizza.
Are we in the matrix or something???

We’re focused in the waiting, and besides, all people knows that when you’re expectant and waiting focused, cooking becomes impossible.

Bon appetit to the forum.

Enjoying every single calorie!!!
Yum Yum!!

Just for curiosity, but… has someone here received the new ZB4 email?
Or there are delays?
Thanks.

no this is the last freebie after this you are gonna pay for upgrades just like any other software. Which I don’t mind I think they should do a subscription service like Autodesk to be honest it has a lot better value and keeps the Development better funded

I’m sure we’d see someone post somewhere they they got the email. None here yet though.

I think everyone that posted in this thread should have been bumped to the top of the list though…

I wouldn’t bet on it …

Hahahahaha! I had pizza too!

Hey, a guy can dream, can’t he?

I am suprised though they haven’t at least said something, or added new zclassroom video tutorials for us to yap about.

I’ve always had to send support a message about the last few updates though, so as long as I get things sorted with them before the weekend I’ll consider myself a happy camper.

Worse case, I’ll get my email friday efternoon, and they will already be gone for the weekend. 8(

Where did you get this info?

I did not hear anything about future upgrades not being free after this version.

I was wondering this as well. To my knowledge there hasn’t been any official statement that would indicate this is the case.

Personally, I wouldn’t believe it until Pixologic says it themselves.

I would prefer adobe to autodesk subscription. Adobe at least doesn’t force you to upgrade your subscription every year…autodesk does and if you don’t because the upgrade doesn’t help your pipeline workflow…doesn’t matter. You will pay more the following year. You can upgrade to Photoshop CS5 from CS2 for the same price as if you had CS4.

I am not upgrading my 3ds max subscription when it runs out this year.

I seriously doubt Pixologic have made any decisions with regards pricing for future upgrades. Why would they make that decision now? They don’t need to make it now.

Adobe’s upgrading isn’t quite so clear cut as it seems. With their suites, it’s cheaper to upgrade from the previous version than it is to upgrade from older versions.

I kinda see Adobe and Autodesk as equally loathsome really. Both rip off their customers without a hint of remorse.

I hope Pixo sink both those markets one day blahahahahaha :laughing:small_orange_diamond:laughing:small_orange_diamond:laughing:small_orange_diamond:laughing:

I wouldn’t be so sure about that. This is one of the bonuses of being a Zbrush user. No one has had to pay for upgrades yet. I think this trend goes all the way back to users who bought the program when it first came out. I’m not sure since I’ve only been a Zbrusher since 2.5

This is one of the reasons I love pixologic so much. They take care of us beyond the standard. Autodesk doesn’t do this for their consumers. I keep wondering how Pixologic makes capitol by offering such a selfless service to us. I tell every traditional real world sculptor I know or meet to get on the Zbus. It’s a nice ride.

I have been here for over 8 years. I won ZBrush in an image contest way back when it was 1.23b. So not only have I never paid for it, I never have since then. This is ONE of the major reasons why I try to give back all I can to Pixologic and the Z community. It is why every Z owner should be proud of their ZBrush and for Pixologic. We ALL are a part of something that has not only been amazing for 10 years but, in all that time, hasn’t truly ever asked anything more from it’s devoted users save passion and creativity.

Seems like the site is being updated.
Woo Hoo!

Yes…I agree that both adobe and autodesk are huge corporations and don’t give great support to their user base. I would love to see Zbrush sweep both markets.

Not familiar with upgrading suites as I just use Photoshop and Dreamweaver.
