did I miss the first-quarter release of 3.5 for OSX?
I cant wait to get my hands on the new hard surface brushes and ZSpheres2, new selection tools, etc etc, please Pixologic, please…
I think if you see an announcement that ZBrush 3.5 for mac is released today, it’s likely just an April Fools prank. 
Yeah, I think this would be false advertising. 
…but they also said that they, (pixo), were trying for a first qtr release…
as of today that didn’t happen either, oh well, old habits die hard huh? :lol:
Well I hope it’s a rock solid release with all the time they’ve taken.

Wouldn’t be true irony if it WAS released today. Instant Karma for all.
Past experience states that they always mention a specific date when its finalized.
Otherwise first quarter etc should just be ignored. When they say April 5th then you know that it will come at about 1am on the 6th but it will come.
I have never seen a date slip when they specify an actual day. (Or not that I remember.)

Well, I am pretty sure that it won’t be released today; as hell hasn’t even begun to freeze over yet. 
I think I’ll wait until Pixologic actually delivers something deserving thanks, before thanking and praising them. Their treatment of and communication with Mac customers to date hasn’t really made me feel all that thankful about my Mac ZBrush purchase so far.
3.5 release for Mac has become a joke.

Does anyone know if there is a way to get into the 3.5 beta testing for OSX? I Bought 3.2 because I saw advertisements for 3.5 being available now. Then read that it would be available in Q1, And now we’re past Q1. I held out on purchasing ZB due to the lack of 3.5 being available, I went with ZB instead of MB2011; I could only choose one due to my budget limitations. And I far prefer 3.5 ZB than any of the competition.
I need the features in 3.5 now, and bought the app because I saw that I would finally be able to use 3.5 in OSX. I really need some key features in 3.5 badly for a current project, any help is appreciated. Thanks.
Have you an established track record with using zbrush? Thought not. You’ll have to waiit like everyone else for 3.5 for OSX to be released.

Still waiting on 3.5 for mac. I think we we will always be at least a year behind the windows users. I wouldn’t be surprised if 4.0 for windows is released almost immediately after the 3.5 version for mac.
I’d rather forget about 3.5 and just have ZBrush 4.0 for mac at the same time as the PC users get 4.0, otherwise we might be waiting till at least Christmas or early 2011 to get 4 for mac.

Isn’t zbrush 4 mac in the beta stage? I could have sworn it was in pixolators post with the watch.
It just mentioned Zbrush for Mac, not the version number. As 3.5 for mac was previously referenced, assume it is that version.

Ah ok. Well at least its being worked on. Whether its a z4 dual release or not an update is on the way. My money is on a dual release. But I’m not a lucky guy. hahaha
pleeeease let the osx version have a dual release with windows. parity is a good thing IMO. OR whatever gets us at least 3.5 soon… i’m aching to use the hard surface brushes and ZSpheres2
