could you possibly post 3 renders of him without his color maps, one with just the displacement map on him, another with displacement and normals, and another with displacement, normals, and bump map?
i’d really like to see where you differentiated between detial levels.

Can you answer a question I have about painting indentations? Did you paint the cracks and crevices with an Zdepth tool? I’m trying to figure out how to use it.

sadicus - thx bro - the textures are 2048 in size, cant remember exactly what the polys count was (as I dont currently have a copy of Zbrush at the moment…sigh:cry:) but just over 1000 000 polys and renders where like 3 hours the hirez took a bit longer

how do you render in another application , how do you get all the texture on the model , if i try and open my model in max it crashes !!!

Ive been Zbrushin for just under a year on and off,
The model I import to max is the low poly with a mesh smooth and Displacement map to get the details - sweet like a lemon:D

It really turned out spectacular Fo0D :+1: You deserve all those stars

There are somethings I don’t quite understand in your process.
In order to create the displacement map how high did the poly count go on the model? What was the poly count on your base mesh?

The Lowpoly sits at 4401 polys and the Highpoly at 4457472 polys - I was a bit off the mark before but I finally managed to check it out in ZB again:lol:
