Cool!! Great job on the skin detail. Also his facial expression is very clear and strong now. Can’t wait for the texture!
A colour map will take this to an insane level!
very nice work!!!

Cool! I like it very much!
It reminds of a cross between Godzilla (as Jason said) and an Evangelion.
If you are going to animate him:
The only thing I would say is that he seems more engineered toward land locomotion than water. His hip area looks a little crowded with the extra flipper for him to be streamlined when underwater. But that might be just due to his hunched pose…
Maybe a flattened tip on his tail would help him swim?
Looking forward to the texture.
Great work!
Wow, what a great character. I love the texture. That is exceptionally good work.
If you live in Melbourne, Australia, perhaps I should come and visit and watch over your shoulder as you work
Keep up the great work there.

Thx dudes
Jason Belec - Thx for the feedback …sounds good, I will give it a try
Agamenon - large details are displaced and for the bumpmap I desaturated the normalmap applied it in zbrush with the BumpViewerMaterial and painted over it :]
Brainplug - ur right he might drown - haha… but the flat tiptail is awsome idea thx
thx for the replys much appreciated
Looks like Godzilla a little bit :)))
But really , really awesome work !!!
thx…yes does look a little godzil + evangelion influence crept in but it was not intentional (I think i have watched too many evangelion toons)
I had a quick test in photoshop with making the underbelly light and dark, I think Jason Belec is right looks better dark? but still not sure? not final colour scheme just test
feedback would be much appreciated

I like the Blue scheme myself, seems more natural
This is looking awesome dude…I think the blue one looks better, i would probably push a bit of purple and green into it…Having said that , the light looks cool on the red (makes his hide look tough) although that was probably just the render.
I like both of these last 2 images. What I was sggesting might be easier to understand as say a great white shark, but flip the colour scheme. Us your colours, they are good, but you might try the current colours as seen in your images as if the light was evern. Then when lights are added you will get a very natural effect. Just suggestions.
These are just fantastic!
I think I like the blue one more too, but I like the crevas detail in the red one.
Great work
cool thx for the feedback, I will post soon… thx again
Hi
Aaah… SSS always looks great! It’s going to be a cool creature.
Cool model. I like the way the lower tricep muscles flow into the upper/outer muscles of the forearm.
nice work!!!
wow I really like it
the one thing I’m not really sure of though is the set of fin things between the arms and legs
lol i get the idea behind it, it just doesnt seem right on the model
only a minor thing though its still brilliant
Wow! Creatice and professional Model…fantastic work.
I like the color-renderings…they look a little like hand drawn/ comic style…great!
Could you put the 3DS-Max Render-Settings on the Server?
Would be helpful. I work with MAX since DOS-Version but lost the
focus on it after my first ZB steps :]
five stars!
best regards
