Alex- Portrait of a Young Woman

@Bukkit:I think that is up to your personal taste.The old one has a strange looking eyes. Skin shading was also waxy.
I did add more bounce light to the latest version. As I said its a personal taste.
@Rudy: Thanks buddy… Congratz to your new job too :slight_smile:
@Magda,shikhar sharma,Dillster,jempix,kaisasose: Thanks!
@JayBass: I still see a lot of things I can improve .But I guess I have to move on. But thanks for the tip.

yea, thats cool Mao. its a nice work nonetheless man ,)

Hello, khitan
Can I ask you how do teeth is rendered?

ohhh…that’s super realistic…u hav supernaturall skills…congrats…hats off to u…

Jaw dropping work!! dammmmm

Khitan, that’s really nice work, well done :+1:

That was super generous of you to post that layer breakdown video. Thanks!

Congrats on finishing this, it’s an amazing accomplishment, wonderful result

Agreed fibermesh is great for hairstyling. Just curious what feature did you miss the most while working?

@Anshu198823,mitviz,pumeco,Wetterschneider : Thanks you ! Appreciate it!
@PengL:In order to make it physically correct I model the teeth using two mesh. One is the original teeth mesh. The other was a offset version of the same teeth that simulate the enamel layer with a glasslike material.I will post a photo later to illustrate this.

@sculptwork :

1.)The only feature I love to see is the option to import maya NurbsCurves into Zbrush as Fibremesh .I usually export and do some final adjustment on single curves in Maya to tidy everything a bit. But once I edit it in Maya there is no way I can go back to Zbrush. Would be nice to have some kind of GoZ or exchange link between Zbrush / fibremesh and Maya.

2.) If am not mistaken the Zbrush the groomingbrush tool are scale dependent and behave very different depend on your model scale. A “global scale option” that quickly allows you to change the scaling behavior provides a simpler workflow when you have to groom a giants haircut then have to switch to comb a small rabbit.Or did I miss something here?

Ha! Love the ‘real world’ application of the image in that photo with the kid there. :slight_smile:

Unbelievable realism you’ve achieved. Thanks for all the breakdowns of your work!

Thank you very much!
Could you give me the material setting to check?

Are you using Arnold? Otherwise its pretty straight forward. You need a skin material and a glass material to make it work.
I can give u my arnold shader setting but I want to make sure your not using Vray or MR?

Well done. And at the age of 6? Amazing.

Wow! Awesome! Congrats!!:+1:

i love this work and have learned alot from it. keep it up;)

Awesome work! Congrats!:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:

I don’t use Arnold, but I would like to learn and try it… Could you have a lesson about it for me? I 'd appreciate for you!
