Man that is some gorgeous work! The detailing is incredible. How can a model have so much detail yet still look so right? But I do think thats one of my old high school teachers! Great to watch this guy develop, thanks for the ups!

I wonder, btw… all of the great modelers like you that create such detailed,
perfectly “gruesome” characters, do you actually dig for reference into photo galleries of mummies, rotten corpses, medical abnormalities stuff and such?
I can’t imagine how one can create so “juicy” and “live” creatures like this without some gore folders handy

Not to repeat what everyone is saying, but yours is purely inspirational work from a superb craftsman.
This is an honest question, not a criticism…
Why… does someone of such enormous talents devote them to the creation of the hideous and grotesque? Of course you can do anything you choose and obviously do it extremely well - but why this subject matter?
In any case it is definitely eye candy!!
Nate- my work is creature designer ,and do aliens ,monsters creatures all always was my choice because you can do amazing and many details in a creature ,my inspirations came from artists like Rick Baker, Robin Bottin ,Stan Winston, some of the best creatures designers of the creature bussines.
And one of great inspirations to be artist years ago was the cartoons movies ,like Disney movies! Today i bought 3 DVDS , Alladin, Bambi, and Beauty and the Beast.
no one horror movies!! aahahahhahaah,
