That mech is crazy dude! Impressive amount of details, cool ape bust as well!

Thank Jordy

Here’s a new one=

Inspired by “R-type”. Some parts made with Wings3d (low poly) and then edited with zbrush (Slice curve/Edgeloops/transpose/IMM)

I made some articuled parts using “Layer”

And what if I told that you do not need to put more and more details in any free space on the model?
My advice to you - get it over with. The model can look good without thousands of unnecessary parts.
No offense.

Sawgittarius: Don’t worry, thank you for the advice.
I may suffer some kind of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder…
Great picture, IMM is LEGO for big boy

Before testing fibermesh i decided to restart my gorilla from scratch to practice more organic modeling, I wasn’t satisfied with the first version.

Another way of Using Zb.
Graffiti - The pink one done with Zbrush, the yellow one with FlashMX , composition in Photoshop.

Cool and clean!
Haven’t heard of (or used for that matter!) of flashMX in years!

Santis thank you , yeah FlashMX is a good tool for me lol

Here’s the continuation of my study of a Gorilla (more fibermesh tests, eye done with photoshop)
BPR render with 2 different material, some BPR filter & composition in PS

gorillawip (Medium).jpg

I love how the face gradually blends into the dark background. Was that a conscious decision? I mean, did you imagine it this way when you started it?

Sorovince= yes i did, i used the BPR filters during the render, and the BPR Depth in photoshop.

Finished ilustration:

Hi Akze,

I LOVE this sculpt! I am working on a robot sculpt now where I need to get great clean lines like you have here. Can you tell me how you make such great etched lines between all the surface panels and the great circles etc? What tools and process are you using? Are you using any alphas etc? I really want to achieve this look on my robot and I need to have crisp clean lines, seperation panels like you have, raised and lowered panels etc.

Thank you for any help you may offer!

Take care and keep up the great work.
