Juandel,

The DecoBrush is a very flexible 2dTool that can be customized many different ways. Experiment with the DecoBrush-Modifier’s sliders and the Tile Texture button.

Also, try combinations of the material, RGB and Zadd Transform buttons. Of course the DecoBrush strokes can be changed dramatically by just changing the assigned materials and lighting.

I’ve started using the DecoBrush with Alphas, particularly from the wonderful collections posted by Polaris30 a while back. He put up some great tilable alphas that are perfect for the DecoBrush.

Watch out though, DecoBrush experiments can be a big time-sink

Sorry Stargo that I couldn’t reply to your post earlier, I was having some fun with Mickey and friends at Disneyland and well just came back today, but I can still thank you… I will now set it as a wallpaper.
Thank you!

Thank you juandel and Svengali

I hope you will like it too

Stargo

Very nice as always, Stargo. I see several things when I look at it…I see perspective wise as if a head was laid back looking from the chin to the underside of the nose. I see a serving platter with a lid. I also see the cockpit of maybe a spacecraft…I suspect that should I look even more I will see even more…than is the fun thing about abstracts. kewl work.

Im not an expert at using Zbrush im only 17 but I am working on it. This is somthing i just started drawing and got really pulled into it. The more I played the more I started to mess with different brushes and tecniqus. Tell me what you think  Thanks and great job on all the fabulous artwork in here! Awsome Robotics by Dave.JPG

i hate abstract art lol. i like to recognize what im looking at…

I love this thread and I love everybody’s work! I’ve never posted an image before but I feel inspired now. I made this with the first version of Zbrush a few years ago. My “Zskills” are minimal but you guys have inspired me to work on them. Thanks for sharing.

 Hi guys ! Hsslr I really like your abstract underwater scene great Job:+1: :+1: Here is another “begginer” Piece I created last night. I actually kinda made it by accident but then I used my imagination and it really took off from there. I have two that I made, please give me any feedback good or bad. I am really taking an intersts to ZBrush and would like to learn as much as possible. I have always been an abstract artists though myself. Just more appealing to me to draw abnormal and abstract pieces than anything else. GREAT JOB ON ALL THE ART!!:+1: :+1: :+1:

I think it’s fabulous! And you can do so much more with it if you want, but it’s just great as is. It’s a 3d abstract form which is unique. It has organic, alien, mechanical, and cyborg, type characteristics. I love the details you added. Looks like good modeling to me as well. I haven’t been able to do anything with modeling yet! When you make something by accident that you end up really getting into, it’s the best. I call those “happy accidents”.

[color=cyan]This one actually didnt really turn out like i wanted it to. The idea was to make it look like a bullet sabot hit the living sphere. I was impressed by the bullet penetration but i couldnt get the effects of the wound and blood that i wanted. Here it is though! A question also, how can i make the canvas or workspace bigger its not big too make more stuff in it and how do i cahgne the detail settings because my deteals dont look the best and i have a Radeon 9200 128MB video Card? Oh and Hlssh i havent messed with modelig either. I just use the basic brushed, shaders, and textures and improvise a little. : Thanks for the compliment!

Bullet Wound By Dave final.JPG

lifeless heart.JPG I have plenty of idea’s for it but I would like to get another artist’s idea for my work. Be kind of a challenge I guess  Anyway here it is and sorry for posting so much in a short period of time, I just have so many boiling images in my head dying to get out and Zbrush really comes into play with helping me dissolve them onto a canvas. Thanks!
