About the next step for ZBrush

Thanks so much for answering the very question I was looking for!! I have tried a few and yes, they don’t really work. Don’t exactly know what I’m doing yet but trying to get use to the new tools and such… You made my ZB experience with your wonderful plug-ins so much fun that I will mourn the loss of them…

Am hoping that you will have some time to work on a few of them soon. Thanks for all you’ve done in the past and (hopefully) in the future!

Hello wenna!

Thanks for your kind words and I hope you enjoy ZB3. I think you will.

Cheers,

Thanks form here too Marcus that’s helpful.
I’ve manged to port across my preferred UI* colours_ be careful tho I manged to set up a crash situation by saving out the configuration rather than just saving the colour theme.

Ok, a lot of love is being given to all the new widgets and jee-gaws and whizbang features
of Version 3.0. And rightly so I might add. Some very slick tools.

However, there is a little thing they have added that I think will be more useful to me
than all those lovely and wonderful new tools…Well…if not more useful, at least as useful.

The thing is…it isn’t something with flashy effects so it is easily overlooked. I would like
to direct your attention to the check-in feature.

Finally, Zbrush has become as portable as I have needed it to be. When I first got Zbrush 2,
I was dismayed to learn I couldn’t lug it around on a USB hard-drive. This meant I missed
out on a lot of potential opportunities to work with it at my University Library.

Which lead to more time in World of Warcraft than I care to admit.

Yes…Pixologic found a way to dongle-ize without the hassle of an actual dongle.

Very nice. And will lead to me being more productive–or at least having more opportunity
to be productive.

Initiative comes to them that wait.

For the Horde. Er–Long Live Zbrush 3!

When does 3.5 come out?

Still waiting for my downloadlink

hi:)

its amazing - ontop of all i think that the “feel” of the app is the best
accomplishment. we say: “like butter”

Me to brotha. Solidarity man. Were you on “the list” or are you waiting for a regular upgrade e-mail?

I wait for the upgrade e-mail, i took some day’s off 15 16 17 18 may lol i hope i still can enjoy it this weekend

Can this zbrush 3 do smoothing groups like Mudbox?

a lil’ instability problem there, it seems. i had 6 crashes in a few hours
(mainly, i think, when i change the UI or when i undo).
did anybody else notice something or is it just me, i would wonder?

I am still waiting for my link. Put in the registration Tuesday morning, called Pixologic and of course couldnt get any kind of answer as far as waiting period. I dying over here! Please Zbrush hurry to me!! :rage:  :o

 hard to hear that the cracked version of zBrush 3 is released on the internet before i got my upgrade download link
Still waiting for response … :frowning:

Why does pixellogic not put up a generall download link for those that are waiting? At least they can then play around within the 7 day grace period ZB gives you…

Just a thought. Sorry for those that are still waiting…

maybe your delay in getting it has something to do with that update theyre making.

I sure hope so, really could use all of those plug-ins I was told i’d have.

I use ZBrush2 to make morphs for Poser…But when I do the same steps with ZB3 it seems to invert the morph where it doesn’t work in poser…Is there another way of doing the morphs in ZB3 for poser?

hi,
ZBrush 2 launched in April of 2004. As I look back, I can’t help but wonder whether ZBrush was the only thing that was released at that particular moment? My belief is that something else was also released - something that is far more important to you as an artist - your creativity. To clearly see this, one need simply look at the imagery and posts of recent years. During the last three years, the artist community - professionals and hobbyists alike - were able to reach higher, to create more and - dare I say - feel more about their art. Of course, this progress cannot be attributed solely to us; it was - and continues to be - a collaborative effort of the artist community at large. A community with diverse and talented individuals as well as forward-thinking companies who are constantly looking for ways in which we can be free to create, free to explore, free to imagine.
I can not even begin to describe how pleased and proud we are to have had the opportunity to play a role - small as it may be - in the lives of artists all around the globe. And we are truly thankful! We are thankful because when all is said and done, it is you - the artist- who is the true driving force and the core strength of our community. Our thanks go to the artists who have led the way, the artists who have created imagery which motivated countless others, the artists who have shared their knowledge and to those who have always been there with a helping hand. We are all in this together and we share the same goals. We look forward to the time that we will be free of technological constraints and be able to live what we imagine.

These times are not here yet, but we are making progress one small step at a time.

Couldn’t they wait two days before it’s release to announce it?! :frowning:

I can’t wait FIVE MONTHS!

NoOoOoOooooOoOooOo!

but, if there is no delay,

YaaaaaaAaAaAaAAAaaaaaAaY!

Any updates for the release date yet?
