This is absolutely crazy and unbelievable. Here is everything excellent, from the model till to the texture. Masterful work.
Dear fujiwara and zeros
Thank you very much for your nice words of support. This is an unfinished model, so I hope I can keep up with your expectations. Thanks again very much.
Here is another very small update, was texturing inbetween Mel and the non existent rest of my life. What a tedious job texturing is, was never doing it seriously enough untill now. Every compliment to every CG texturer, you have a very taff job.
you are good at this and really seem to know what you’re doing
Thanks for visiting.
Best luck.
Suzana
A big thanks to everyone, who was participating in giving me feedback and support. Many other characters, backgrounds and models will come to life - I am creating a NEW WORLD ! Once in a very long blue moon
(aminutes who makes me smile with one foot up :D)
I will come back and hopefully get some good feedback from you guys/girls.
Good luck to everyone and lots of lots of success.
:b4:
Now we scared her away
Lemo
Lemonado - dear artist friend - you didn’t !
Believe me. I love this forum, I have never met nicer people on a forum than here. You are a fast growing and excellent artist and I see a bright bright future for you. Step by step is the way how you achieve high levels of skills. And you are doing exactly this.
ok I have to put my foot down…
hahaha we are going to get an update once in a blue moon right?
or else!
just kidding
we are going to get an udate once in a blue moon?
Hi old joker
… once in a very long blue moon.
I didn’t want to leave the thread without saying a green goodbye.
Green stays for hope and see you again.
Lets say, update will come, but much much later.
I want that you guys and girls get something more than just bits and pieces. But I also don’t want to say to much - it should surpise you when you see the final product.
What I will defnitally post is - the final animation.
And updates with almost finished characters.
But again this will take longer time, so a new thread will come,
if this one is really closed.
I don't leave this crazy bunch of wonderful artists behind me, especially you not, this I promise.
[color=Pink]aminutes - you make me smile again, this is your special gift :D

phew!
Dear Everyone.
DOES SOMEBODY NOW, how to activate the edit function on my thread ?
I was several times contacting moderators over the given email address to activate my edit option for this thread,
but I never got any respond.
Thanks for any help.
Suzana
very interesting project u have there!
well, as far as i can see its going well and it looking good, so good luck with that and keep us updated!
Seems to be there is another way to solve the edit - problem.
Thanks anyway. I am starting a character now and I will be able to post first models in about 2 weeks. In the mean time I was collecting so much material for the animation, that I was forced to buy a new hard drive.
I have a new member on the team, will be working on the title page.
I am so tired, but I am also smiling as my first animation - Tomorrow We Will Fly - will be screened as a world premier at LA shorts film festival.
Here is the link:
http://lashortsfest.com/schedule/2005/programs/87.htm
Would be great if you have time to go to LA shorts film festival in Los Angeles.
Here is a still from my first animation
Tomorrow We Will Fly. Colosseum was one of my main backgrounds for the animation and I used Maya for main blocking and building of objects and for the first time Zbrush for unorganic detailing.
This was my thesis school project for background design and lighting, and I used it immediatly for my animation, but I was not allowed to use other programs than Maya or Max. But I still did it, and I really hope no teacher is reading this. Just keep in mind this was really just testing out of Zbrush, just playing around and I liked it, now I am serious with Zbrush.
So till until 2 weeks from now on.
Best to all.
I come from Alabama
With my banjo on my knee
I’m going to Louisiana,
My true love for to see
It rained all night
The day I left
The weather it was dry
The sun so hot,
I froze to death
Suzana, don’t you cry
Oh, Szsana,
Oh don’t you cry for me
For I come from Alabama
With my banjo on my knee
I had a dream the other night
When everything was still
I thought I saw Suzana
A-coming down the hill
The buckwheat cake
Was in her mouth
The tear was
In her eye
Says I, I’m coming from the south
Suzana, don’t you cry
Oh, Suzana,
Oh don’t you cry for me
For I come from Alabama
With my banjo on my knee
(Inspired by Stephen Foster )
I have missed this thread !
Cool work
Pilou
Very nice, can you explain how you did all those cool light effects on the buildings?
Hi Frenchy Pilou, I LOOOOOOOOOVE your song.
you put a BIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIG smile on my face.
Just for you I will keep posting.
I 'll check out your tutorials.
But I already saw your abstract work and I have to say this is excellent,
- excellent for abstract animation.
Let me know if you need some insides into animation, I love to share some knowledge - makes me feel usefull. Hope to meet you at your threads.
Best luck and best success:D
You see - I am smiling again.

big thanks for visiting. This is an INCADESCENCE MAP, which I first painted in Zbrush and definied than as INC map in Maya. I would have gotten desperate if I would have created the map in Maya. This scene is in great part created and lightened with incadescence maps, a technic which is not to be mistaken for texture baking with lights. I ended up using much fewer lights than it looks like.
Great technique, but sadly neglected by many.
CheersPS:
Sorry for the again uploaded textured HEAD, I lost the image by mistake and had to load it up again. I now definitaly know what happens when you press the DELETE button for uploaded images.
I know how to light but don’t have bloody idea how to use a simple image upload system.:o
…is not my cup of tea
But I love to see it !
It’s yet difficult for a fixed image so anim…
I have made just for fun something like that
It’s transformation not realy animation
Wait your next anim!
Have you seen Possession By Zulawski?
Same nighmare than your project
And remark the drawing of the poster strange similitude than your long neck figure Post 22
Pilou
Hey Pilou
You know what i will do?
I will go next time to a creepy video store KENSIGNTEN VIDEO in San Diego, and I will borrow Possession - I need to see this. Very good inspiration. And I also agree with the poster reference - it has a strange resemblance to a long woman’s neck. What a beautiful reference you gave me there. Wonderful woman poster.
Your artwork and its possible morphing reminds me of some kind of metamorphosis. A beautiful idea, and has elements of my animation to come.
Hope to hear you soon.
Best best luck.
:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D
hey this be very cool…congratulations!
cool poster!
And woo hoo an update too!!
The edit button should work I would think…but maybe they are restricting that option for new or new users til ya post so many times?
Anyway keep on zbrushing!
