how did you do that cavity pass in MR?
Really Fantastic Creature Sculpts!
Could you please show some more in-depth info about your lighting/comp setups?
They’re really fantastic.
Hi there
I rendered out the cavity pass by plugging in the cavity map into the color channel of a surface shader. I then assigned a white surface shader to everything else in the scene, rendered out the pass, and then multiplied that over the comp
Also, here are some screens of my comp and lighting set-up for the last image:

I just wanted to post in here, and let you know that this is very well done. I like the character designs, clean, simple, and scary.
The organic shading and lighting fits just right.
Very nice work, and looks to me like it was a lot of fun to do.
Hope you do more,
The flow chart is from what app? I’m on a Mac, it doesn’t look familiar.
That’s 2D composite? Thanks.

OH! THAT’S "THEE’ Alex.A !
Thanks for great DVDs and Gnomonolgy additions. I like the short, direct, and inexpensive format.
I study alone here in Buffalo and they make a huge difference in my life, projects and bottom line.
But I am going to get the new character rigging shortly, just a little more costly. I’ll order today.

Sanjay, you have some serious skills, I wish you good luck out there.
