Hi there
My name is Sanjay Chand and I recently graduated from Gnomon’s CG Certificate Program. I enrolled in a Creature Development class that was taught by Alex Alvarez, and learned quite a bit in the process.
Below are various creatures I completed for the class. All of the models consist of a base mesh that was created in Maya. I then re-imported the level-6 or level-7 mesh into Maya from Zbrush (I have a 64-bit system so it can handle the poly count quite well). I then rendered everything with mental ray in passes, and then comped the final images in Fusion and then did some minor color and gamma adjustments in Photoshop
