hey Dragon, the tiger looks great and excellent pose.
VERY nice works AZTEC and MAYAN indeedâŠ
Hey EZRA52, long time no talk- Sorry, been out (was in the hospital for over a week, now at home resting for a few more-had pancreiteze-however you spell it- and had my galbladder removed. Ya, real nasty, was even told by the docâs that it can kill if not taken care of. But, I am out of danger now). Anywho, glad you dropped by again. I really like how your Honda bike turned out, very, very close to the original concept and most amazing⊠you did it ALL IN ZBRUSH! Kudos my friend.
Interu2x, thanks a million for dropping by. I highly appreciate your comment.
Oh, I forgot to put that this is just a WIP⊠oops.
Haha ! Love the shape of this one ! and the attitude aswell.
Canât wait to see more
Hey Guedin, thanks a million for coming by. Now you see why I love what your creating over at your thread- I am glad you picked out the âshapeâ, as you can tell, trying to go for that cartoon look. As I am creating this piece, I am thinking Frazetta meets DisneyâŠkinda. Hope it comes out right. Best, Dragon.
WIP!! âThe Mayanâ sculpt. Just working on the overall structure of âmy Mayanâ. Hope you all like it so far.
Very cool Jaguar. Should be a great image. You nailed the Jaguar. Iâm really enjoying seeing more toonish (is that a word) work lately.
Glad to see Big Daddy Roth is still appreciated. In fact I have a bunch of reference material and was thinking of doing a Rat Fink image soon also. That would be a great way to get a handle on hard surface modeling in the newest ZBrush.
Rat Fink stuff was very big when I was a teen. Oops, Iâm giving out my age
Hope you took a look at Big Daddyâs work. I must have done dozens of them doodling as a kid and in art classes in the 1960âs. Iâm rambling again. small_orange_diamond
I wonder if there are still many of the old posters around. Long live Kustom Kulture.
Hi Blaine, great to see you in these parts- Thank you very much for the cool comments. I had a heck of a time trying to understand the Jaguarâs anatomy. I own the book âCyclopedia Anatomicaeâ by Gyorgy Feher and Illustrated by Andras Szunyoghy, the book has excellent âbig catâ anatomy, but does not cover it from every angle etc. Spent many, many hours on the net looking at Jaguars in different positions and even then, it still was not enough info. So, much of my sculpting was guess work. Sooo, your comment is very welcoming⊠thanks a million.
Ya, big Daddy Roth rules! You and I are probably around the same age, I too grew up drawing all those Rat Fink images. What a great time right?
I do love my âtoonishâ stuff as well (love creating it, as well as viewing it from other artists).
Yes, long live Kustom Kulture-
On a last note, viewed your work, your really good with ZB. Would love to see more from you as well my friend. Best, Dragon.
WIP
Hello everyone. Here I am with an update on my âTHE MAYANâ sculpt. Still working on THE MAYAN i.e. head, hands, feet, body, etc. I will be making a base, weapon, etc. C&C welcomed⊠PLEASE-
Love the style you have with your characters, hope to see them finished ;â)
wow! he is BIG! good work man, keep goingâŠ
Ha, funny you would say that as your HULK and RHINO are no small dudes either- But ya, thatâs âmy styleâ SUPER CARTOONY BIG-
Long live TOONS
I really enjoy your Mayan Leopard and Man ! I like the way you showed your work flow too.
Seems like a unique way to styalize your figuresâŠgood stuff
Thank you for the kind comments. On the workflow, hope it helps someone (I always do thumbnails of course to final concept drawing, but, I have to tell you, the sculpting workflow is not my own, but âAKZEâsâ method. So I have to thank him for the dynamesh to Sub-D method.)
I have always had this âstyleâ since I was in high school. Now, just applying it to my 3D sculpting.
Again, thanks a million for coming by.
Guilty as charged. Iâve not posted much at all and that was years ago. I need to get my act together and start finishing something. I got sidetracked when I decided I needed to learn in other software first to do this right.
Ah, I know you will get to âcookingâ something real soon. Best.
Wow, it is a great work man, full of expression, your style is imressive!
Thanks a million CookieFever583, now you know as well why I Liked YOUR WORK-
