He’s speaking in tongue!!! Where’s my holy water?
Inspirational stuff!
Thank you for the enlightening tuts and tips.
FWIW; Wings 3d runs on both Mac and PC, and another cheap, similiar 3D app is Hexagon. (for those who need a 3D modeler to follow jmeyers tuts).
And a ring:
Cassandra…: thanks once more,very kind.
acmepixel:you´re welcome.
have a nice Ztime yáll ,J.
Wow, great ring!!!
Lemo
Ditto jmeyer! Your meshes and that metal material are very impressive!!
Thank you guys!
As said before it´s jantim´s rusty metal ,one fo my
favourites;) .
…by a snake?
(or just a texture of snake)
What is “flat ruban” ?
…flat “ribbon”
Your very design objects are all made with the the same interlaced volumes a little “flatty”
So why not a real rounded pipe as a snake
Like this one by Escher
He has also “flat ribbon” on this one, so take just the snake
Frenchy Pilou:Aaaaah so,now i understand.
1.These objects are all made from the same basic knots and
these are intended to be flat.I don´t wanted them to be tubes !
2.Of course i know Eschers picture ,but it´s not my intention
to imitate Escher (there are too many bad imitations already,
as posters ,as 3d stuff and whatever you like) ! So i leave
that for others;) .
I am trying to translate my own methods of
construction ,which i have developed on paper ,for 3D right
now.
J.
almost forgot this ,has been assembled on a pentagonal base
no “flat ribbons” on that one (and also the one in my "2.5D-
Test" thread).
After a word make a comma then make a space and the next word.
Just something
But the knots are looking great
…as the Wings3D maker knots builder
Frenchy Pilou:Thanks Frenchy! Glad you´re still talking to me .
Bas Mazur:Thank you so much.
Jmeyer,
You are definitely the King of Knots
Blaine91555: Thank you very much indeed! That´s very kind
and flattering.
Now for another style
Nice Ztime, J.

OK, nice!. Same shader and startingpoint. Next?
Of course same shader (and alphas btw)and same starting point
and rotation of the basic element and then as before and
octagonal array. Ain´t that obvious?
…this one or this sort of knoting architecture?
All his tuts are terrific!
Have happy knoting to the infinity
