I received a number of emails asking where to put downloaded brushes. May I suggest a new folder under your ZBrush folder?

As I work on this animation series, I’ll be putting up the textures and brushes that get made for them. I will be collecting scripts through all the builds. I’ll post the interesting/cool ones also. If you are like me and collect this type of digital stuff, I’d suggest checking back about twice a month. (probably Mondays).

Kathy what file in z brush do i unzip into please explain, thanks :confused: & how to get them to work.

you will have to right click inside the ZBrush folder (as show above) and then name the file “ZAlphaBrushs”.

Download into that folder if you like, unzip into the same folder.

Here is a step through to use an alphabrush:

Wow Kathy thanks so much :). I have created several sets of storage folders that I added in ZBrush :slight_smile: It makes things so much easier to find :slight_smile: :slight_smile:

I don’t know if you will see this or not since the thread is older, but I still needed to say thank you anyhow! I really needed more variety in alphas… Just what I was looking for!!!
