ZTool From ZBrush 2 Load To ZBrush 3.1 Abort.
OK what am I doing wrong to get the abort when loading ztools made in ZBrush 2.5 in Zbrush 3.1>

edited as aruich is correct it’s Zbrush2 not zbrush 2.5

I think you mean ZBrush 2. There is no 2.5 :slight_smile:

Anyway, could you provide more info about the model? Is it ZSpheres? How many subdivision levels and polygons? What are your system specs? In Z3, what are your Preferences>Mem settings?

Aruick took awile as I had to locate the hd where the zbrush2 program was located at.

First it is not one zb2 ztool like about 100s of ztools - I uploaded one image showing one ztool - have found one way to get them into zb3.1 and that is open zb2 and export as an obj and import into zb3.1. It looks like all are under 1m polys.

Preferences>Mem settings is at 1249 - have 1.5gigs RAM
xp home 32 bit
1.5gigs ram

I can send you the zb2 ztool in the image if you want,

so far saving the zb2 ztool from zb2 to and obj and importing to zb3.1 and saving the imported zb2 ztool as a zb3.1 ztool the new zb3.1 ztool opens fines in zb3.1. I even closed zb3.1 and opened it and loaded the new zb3.1 ztool and it loaded fine.
