Zspheres to Zspheres II

Hey everyone

I really like the new Zspheres II feature, been trying to use it for as many things as possible lately seeing how its so powerful and fun to use.

Anyhow, after creating a base skeleton using the classic Zspheres, I press shift+a to go to Zspheres II mode, and then I need to go over my basic skeleton again in order to fill it with ZsphereII substance (armatures or however they’re called)
Is there a way to automatically do this?

To elaborate, when creating a basic skeleton using Zspheres I in order to later use it as a base for my Zspheres II sculpting, I first need to go over the skeleton and fill it with Zspheres II stuff, as in, I need to manually “convert” the Zspheres I to Zspheres II. Is there a way to automatically do this? Alternatively is this maybe unneeded?

THANKS in advance!
Cat.

I tried this and didn’t need to “fill it with ZSpheres stuff”. I created a ZSpheres I base in 3.2, then later I loaded the tool in 3.5 and went into Edit Sketch mode (shift+A) and just started brushing on the Zspheres. I didn’t need to cover them with ZSpheres2 or anything like that.

In the tool panel, check under the “ZSketch” section and make sure that “Edit Sketch” is highlighted orange. Your base Zspheres should all become the same color and get darker when you go in this mode.

hope that helps.

Also, make sure you are in Draw mode. When I tried this the Move was selected by mistake. When I realized that I was in Move mode, I switched into Draw mode and then could paint on the base ZSpheres with the ZSpheres2 brushes.

Use unified skins instead of adaptive skins. You will not need to adjust the underlying armature to make a unified skin.
