zspheres editing

Hello,

After reading several posts and the quick guide that i got from Pixologic,
i still got this very annoying problem Maybe i don’t have the experience i need to find out the problem, i admit that.

But anyway, here it is. I am trying to make a head with zspheres. I made the
head, the eyes and the nose with one sphere, using the editing tool.

Now i want to shape the mouth with a seperate zsphere. How can i do that, everytime i make the shape of the mouth and i “press” it into the head, i can not edit the head anymore. Also when i make adaptive skin, it only does the mouth.

I must be overlooking something, hope it is not too stupid to get everybody laughing in this forum…

Tnx

Joep

I have a hunch you left Edit mode before you tried adding the mouth. As a result, it’s a whole new ZSphere structure.

and i can’t edit the old one then anymore ? If i make seperate legs and arms, i want to do the same…

There’s a topic in the Modeling part of ZBC’s FAQ that discusses working with multiple objects. It’s a good idea to read it.

As for why the mouth ZSphere is no longer affecting the head ZSphere when it’s not a part of the head’s ZSphere structure – well that should be kind of obvious. That’s kind of like wondering why the light switch in the bedroom doesn’t turn on the lights in the kitchen.
