Zspheres - Camera shortcuts no longer work

Small but frustrating problem. After a few minutes of working with Zspheres the camera seems to somehow “lock” into the selected sphere part and I can no longer rotate the camera, drag, zoom in with Alt etc, it always affects the zspheres.

i always have to go back to “A” preview mode to be able to rotate the camera and then turn it of to work on the zspheres.

Wonder what I’m doing wrong or what am I activating by mistake?

Thanks

Which version of ZBrush are you using?

Zbrush 3.1

Anyone?

You could be experiencing a variant of the issue that most people see as the ZSpheres become really small and flying to the upper left corner of the canvas.

Simply turn on the preview, press Ctrl+Z to undo, turn the preview off again, and press F to reframe your model. This should return you to normal behavior.

It’s a known issue, and has already been fixed on the Mac side. PC users will see the fix with 3.5 this month.

Hi aurick, thanks for the reply but that is not the issue. That I experience too sometimes but I manage to work around it.

THis problem is different, THe camera is ok, everything is working. Its just that when press and hold outside the canvas with Alt to rotate the canvas, all of the sudden doesnt work, just like if the mouse was being pressed on the zsphere. Whatever I do outside the canvas affects the sphere just like I was clicking on it.
SO whenever I want to rotate the camera, or zoom in or any “press outside the object” action I have to change to preview mode on the zspheres so he doesnt select the camera anymore and rotate the camera.
