Zsphere2 - key bindings

Zbrush 3.5 isn’t out yet, but the new zsphere 2 videos are out, and the Zsphere2 seems to be beyond awesomeness:

While watching those incredible videos i was wondering something about the keybindings, let me explain:

When i sculpt i use the keys 1, 2, 3, 4… to switch between my brushes
1=standard brush, 2=move brush, 3=clay brush …

i was wondering, will there be a possibility to have those keybindings changing while being in zsphere2 mode ?

Example:

In sculpting mode: 1=standard brush 2=move brush 3= clay brush … etc …
In zsphere2 mode: 1=Sketch1 brush brush 2=Armature brush 3=Bulge Brush … etc …

My english is far from perfect, don’t hesitate to tell me if you don’t understand what i am asking :slight_smile:

The real question is can we finaly pose separate meshes as was promise a few years ago. Because theat would be great! Hope they finally solve that issue as their have been many threads discussing this.

I don’t know what posing several meshes has to do with keybindings, but if there was several thread about it, i am sure it’s something important ! :wink:

anyone got a clue if it’s already possible to change the keybindings within zbrush 3.1 depending on which tool you are using ?

You can have different keybindings already. You simply save out a different hotkey set thru the Preferences>Hotkeys submenu, then load it in when you want to use it. It would be a simple matter to record a macro to load in specific bindings (and assign a hotkey to the macro). With a little zscript the macro could be made to toggle keybindings, or run thru a list, all with a single hotkey…
