ZSphere Twist

I’m learning how to model with Zspheres. Its pretty straight forward - so far. But I have this piece that Im working on that appears to twist.

When I preview the skinning, the topology for some reason is not flowing symmetrically. I tried to rotate the spheres to align the polygon flowing, but it doe not seem to work. Is there a way to zero out or reset the rotation of a zspere?

Or should I not worry about it and re-topologize this later on?

What happens if you try moving the legs higher up the hips?

ZSpheres are actually treated much more like cubes. It’s usually not a good idea to have two children coming off the same side of the parent, which is what you have going into the legs.

Thanks, I moved things around a bit and it seems ok now, but its not what I want as far as the shape goes.

I tried adding two “eyes” at shoulder level, and it was symmetrical.

So I think I might play some more.
