[Zsphere]Separate ZSpheres in 3.5

I watched Ryankingslien’s brilliant “Anatomy of the Face” on youtube and I want to try it on 3.5r3.
However. if I use the default Adaptive skin’s settings I will get a continuous mesh instead of a separate one.
So I use the “Classic Skinning” setting but I found my mesh “twist” at the separate point of the mesh:
