Zsphere rigging in Transpose Master issue.

Hi I am new to the forum, and new to zbrush. I really hope I explain this correctly as I am not having much luck querying answers.

I sculpted a figure with various subtools and I am at a point where I would like to pose him before I do anymore detail. I used transpose master and zsphere rigging. My zsphere armature looks pretty good, however the issue I am having is that when I try to pose the arms, the sides of my torso want to move with it and vicea versa. I’m at a loss for why this is happening since every other portion moves correctly. My spheres are sized correctly I think. Any ideas or thoughts would be very nice.

p.s. I would post a picture but am not certain how (or maybe I don’t want people to laugh at my sculpt) haha.

There is no weighting in your Zsphere rig so you have to add extra bones to tell the mesh how to properly bend. You’ll want to add extra spheres coming out of your spine that support the area that would be your rib cage.

Hope this helps.

Thanks Beta_Channel for the quick reply. I will certainly try this at when I get home from work! Theonly question that crosses my mind is how to situate the rib bones. I wonder if they can be straight out or shall I need to curve them more anatomically correct. I guess I’ll see! Thanks again!

straight out is fine.
