zsphere, retopology workflow question

Hi guys,
I have a confusion about this workflow

I just created a model. The base mesh is from zsphere.
After that I seperate between the head and the body. Because I want to make the head more detail. I subdivide the head until level 9 and the body until level 7. In this case, I still couldn’t make the lips part detail.
My goal is to have a good retopology with the detail in the model. So its good for the animator.

My question is,

  1. Should I retopology my model and transfer the old detail to the new one?
  2. Can I sculpt more detail with new topology?
  3. Is it better to retopology together head and the body or should I seperate it to get more detail in the head part?
