I got a problem with Zspheres. Somehow, I can´t scale them down as much as I want to. Is there something like a minimum size? I never encountered that problem before.
Plus, how come that Zspheres (only sometimes) look bigger than the connection between them?

i suppose you appended the ZSphere as a Subtool right? Well in that case … yes there is a minimum size. When doing ZSpheres in “regular” ZSphere mode there is no such thing as a minimum size.

So, I could just create a new tool/Zsphere with a small size and append that to my “master tool”? Would that work?

no that minimum size issue doesn’t make any sense at all. Seems to be a little quirk.
And yes if you create the ZSphere tool seperate and append it later you won’t have that problem.
