ZSphere Basic Issue

I’m new at ZBrush and I’m using the demo version so I guess this should be easy to answer.
I’ve been trying to follow the method that antropus used for “Picasso.” Apparently, he started modeling by doing something like what I’ve done in the first picture, but when I Preview it, it looks something like the second picture instead of a normal basic-looking face.

DownLoad and check out the Practical Guide on page 265 it explains your problem in detail…solution is to set your Ires to 1 instead of the default of 6.
