Thanks Josh!
Your keyshot renders are really stepping up.
Gorgo especially looks like a shot from the old films.

I think youāre the first person ever to acutally make a 3D model of Gorgo!

I like the heavyness of it! Would like to see this Goji battle the king Ghidorah you concepted!
Thank you sadicus.
cool stuff dude. Those renders are looking mighty fine. Are you still using keyshot for these?
Thanks LjSketch, yes, Some of these are rendered in Keyshot, some in zBrush. The close up is Keyshot tho. I actually like the difference between the two, at least the way I use them both. Keyshot definitely gives a more realistic look, while zBrush seems to give me a more painterly look, which I really like. The realistic look can be too literal sometimes, and rob the subject matter of itās mystique and awe, and make things appear small, and toy-like. So, it takes a lot of finessing to get that to work for me.
Thanks for the insight! Iāve been wanting get back into Keyshot out for awhileā¦at least with my sketches. I want to see if I can get something out with a photo real look, which I struggle with in Zbrush. But like you, most times I prefer the illustrative look from ZBrush renders.
Yes, I always thought your images looked very painterly, which was what made me really enjoy looking at your work. Between the sculpting and the rendering, it always popped off the page in a pleasing way.
manā¦thanks for the kinds words! Iāll always take a compliment from da dopepope
