Whoa, he looks like he is made from the Earth directly, very cool, plus he has an interesting head shape.
Saw you at the Summit and in the workshops, just giving you a shout out!
@takai thanks a lot man. It was cool meeting you and everyone else involved in that summit. Fun stuff.

That is one bad ass Apocalypse dude, totally love it, just the head is too shiny and metal like, In my opinion its more of like a gray alien skin type of a thing.
But looks cool any ways.

Thanks a lot for the feedback @3d.manic I struggle with skin often. It can look either too shiny metallic, or way too flat and matte. can’t nail the ‘skin’ aspect very well yet. Still practicing and experimenting.
Alright, it looks gr8 any ways man, try looking at some tutorials of photorealistic skin, i saw a zbrush workshops one but never got arround to get one…
Might be as simple as adding a pass for SSS (Sub Surface Scattering). Also, you may want to revisit the ZBrush Summit’s presentation by the two judges of Face Off. Glenn stated that you want to start off with you’re lightest shade first and progressively get darker. I know he was making a demon, but the process should be the same.
My first KEYSHOT render. I have so much to learn.
