ZSketch Unified Skin Issue

ISSUE RESOLVED

Dear Zbrush Community,

I’ve Zsketched a model of a man. When I press unified skin, the body of the man is fine, its just that certain areas of the mans face are corrupted.

Pre-Unified Skin: please refer to attached Image001.jpg

Unfiied Skin: please refer to attached Image003.jpg

How can I retain the details: i.e. remove this automated Unified Skin error that covers the intricate details of the mans eyes, mouth and ears?

Many thanks
Kind Regards,
Ash :stuck_out_tongue:

ISSUE RESOLVED

perhaps you should try to make it as a subtool to each other and use projectall.

not sure what you mean. Its all zsketched. Is this something I may not be doing right?

I notice you have your Spheres Density (Sdns) turned up a bit. Move it down to 0 and see if that helps.

lol no difference. Is this normal?

With the resolution you have set, no, it’s not normal. Maybe you have too many zspheres piled on. Open the ZSketch submenu and click Optimize button then try Unified Skin Preview again.

sadly no difference any more tips?

I REALLY need help guys any advice appreciated. I cann’t do anything until this is sorted. I’ve been sepnding the whole day trying to sort this out. I had planned to start texturing today but im still stuck at the Zsketch level.

Yes, I’m curious too. How did you resolve the issue? Also, why did you delete the images?

Apologies for deleting the images.
I resolved the issue by simply increasing the resolutoin of the Unified SKin to the maxium. It took a long time to unify, but it worked.

thanks
