ZRemesher with polygroups on, wish for next version of ZRemesher

After Dynameshing and working on the dynameshed model, ZRemesher could reduce the number of polygons, but it would be good to preserve the polygroups. But when polygroups is on on ZRemesher, ZRemesher preserves the polygons on the borders of the polygroups. So it is nearly not able to reduce the number of polygons overall.
A function to preserve the form of the borders of the polygroups but not the number of polygons at the border would be very good. So reduction of polygon-number would be possible with preserving the polygons.
It’s like the inverse function of the new dynamesh with preserving polygroups but increasing the number of polygons along the group-borders.

Finally I’ve found a workaround to preserve polygroups (for example poygroups with high number of polygons after using Dynamesh) by effectively reducing the number of polygons along the group-borders:

ZRemesh one polygroup after the other with the other polygroup hidden and the polygroups-button set to off.
You get a new mesh for the visible polygroups with less polygons as desired and a new polygroup for combining with the not yet remeshed and hidden polygroup.

  1. Repeat this procedure for the 2. polygroup which was hidden before.

  2. Delete all new polygroups between the original polygroups.

  3. Use Bridge-curve to connect the two remeshed polygroups with low polygon-number.

  4. Assign the new bridge-polygroup to one of the 2 remeshed polygroups (group visible)

  5. Now ZRemesh the complete subtool of two polygroups with polygroups-button on, to get a clean polygon-flow along the previously new with curve-bridge generated polygroup, which now no more exists as an own polygroup

Note: This only works with closed polygroup-borders. With open borders you get the problem, described here by me in another thread: The borders of the two remeshed polygroups are near together so the curve.brush tends to connect the two curves along the borders and no mesh between the two boardes is generated.
