zProject whilst keeping polygroups?

Hi, I’ve been searching for the answer to this, but cant seem to find it.

I have a retopologized and UV’d mesh that I am using to Project the detail from my high res model onto.

My problem is, after I’ve set both meshes up over a zsphere and projected the detail and made the skin, I loose all my poly groups.

Am I just tired and arnt seeing something obvious?

it’s a good Idea to get the color from the poly groups on the original mesh, then project all, then create poly groups from polypaint on the new model, then you can polypaint the details, if you’ve already painted on the original model, make a copy and poly project again after you have recreated the poly groups.
