Zproject - transpose mode line doesn't work?

Hi all,

I’m trying to use the transpose mode line feature and it doesn’t work.

Step by step of what I’m doing.

put geo on canvas then draw another piece of geo click edit.

switch from draw to move tool, draw from my model in edit mode to the other model that is on the canvas

switch back to draw with zproject brush selected and paint.

in theory it should paint my target mesh onto my mesh in edit mode correct? I get zero result. I’ve checked masks, intensity, zadd, zsub… nothing works.

any help is appreciated!

I’ll go through the documentation and double check, but I don’t think that functionality has been there for a while (I think it might have been reworked to make way for Spotlight). ZProject will still project if you were to move the tool over the pixols you dropped to the document

That no longer works that way. Now, you can use either the ZProject brush with the one mesh directly over top of the other or Dynamesh with MeshInsert.

Just to clarify the ZProject brush for anybody that is new to ZBrush.

thanks for clearing this up, I thought I was going crazy… the tool was just not working.
