ZProject texturing map size problem

Have started using ZProject.

How do I do the projection mapping at a higher res?
When I click on Texture menu and enter 2048x2048 and New, it sets a new white texture page.
But while painting (after turning Texture OFF), it uses the default resolution.

How do I texture at a higher resolution? Am I missing something here?

are you using polypaint?

Which version of ZBrush are you using? If you’re using 3.5R3 you need to set the texture size using the Tool>UV Map menu. (And should also read the New Features PDF in your R3 folder.) 3.2 assigns map size the same way.

If you’re not using 3.2 or 3.5, why not?

Well, I have been using ZBrush 3.1 at the workplace, as that’s the only one installed. Upgrading will not happen soon, I guess.

I was trying to project a photo-texture onto the model.
However, on painting in RGB mode, the resolution changes to default.
I wanted to change it to 2k.

Do I have an option in this version?
