Do subtools need to be aligned over one another to project details between them in ZBrush 4? I’ve been trying to use the Move tool to mark the “origin” that I want to use but nothing ever gets projected unless the source subtool is positioned behind the target subtool. 
I took my first look at ZB4 today and can confirm the same findings. The tutorials etc do indeed show using the move button to locate the clone source origin for the zproject tool but not it seems in ZB4?
Checked the pdf’s and the wiki but can’t find mention of these differences.
Some broader technical illumination 'pon this matter would indeed be most efficacious
