Zproject Brush error in 3.5r3

I’m glad I found this thread. I’ve been messing around for hours with the zproject brush transpose line, trying to figure out “what am I doing wrong?!?”. Turns out it’s just turned off…

I wish: A) all these deactivated functions at minimum had some kind of clue they were deactiviated… like in the ctl-button tooltips.

B) This thing worked exactly like the photoshop stamp tool. Maybe the zbr4 lightbox things will be the best thing since sliced bread, there’s still probably a use for a ‘stamp tool’.

in 3.5r3 this tool work better  reming me the Blender mode of painting textures! simply awesome

can u please explain me how the trick done

  1. load a texture in the texture
  2. make a plane with the same dimension of your texture and subdiide it 6 or 7 times and assign a flatcolor material.
  3. with the plane in editmode and your texture actie go to Color > fillobeject
4)move your textured palne in a confortable position and exit from editmode
  4. load the tool that you want to paint on
6)in editmode overlay the tool to the textured plane
7)choose the Zproject brush and paint

Hey Digisculpt,

You can paint with multiple subtools in a stack… you just have to paint one at a time.

Make sure the eyeball is active for each subtool and hightlight the subtool you want to paint on.

Can you explain the method you use in 3.5r3. I can’t figure this out at all. Thanks!
