these edges will not delete, what is a way to remove them?

If none of the edge options are doing it for you, maybe you could use the polygon options to delete those 10 faces and then recreate them with the bridge option
Try turning off symmetry for the delete. If it’s still giving you problems, it’s probably because Zmodeller can’t figure out how to do the delete without creating n-gons. You can help it out by deleting the polys around it and closing the hole (by using the close hole or manually collapsing edges, etc.) as Cryrid suggested.
