Woohoo - my first question/request.
I’ve been using ZBrush for a number of years now and I really liked the visual way that Zmapper flipped between 3D mesh to 2D UV map view, (now disappeared from 3.5 - along with some of the functionality it appears at first glance - booooo…)
Anyway, I always hoped that this would continue to be supported and even expanded upon - I hoped that I would also eventually be able expanded to colour map painting for polys and pixels/pixols. I’d find it very useful if you could “drop” your colour map to UV view a la Zmapper, and then be able to paint/clone on the flat and then lift it back up to 3D view.
Don’t know how anyone else feels about this or if trhere is even a workaround for it?
Any thoughts on this functionality and if others would also find it useful - or if a script that does something similar has already been released?
