ZMapper Normal map Issue

Hello fellow artists, i have a question for those of you who can point me in the right direction. I’m getting some odd spots on my normal maps when i take my lowest subdiv model into Zmapper, although at the second subdivision level the spots disappear, the mesh is very sensitive in the case of bump inflation. So as I was saying the spots reappear in the second subdivision of the mesh if i inflate the bump map. Now my question is how do i get rid of these spots, this is very annoying and i’m starting to lose my temper here.

Thank you in advance.
Best regards,
Andrei.

increase your raycast distance…it’s in one of the tabs. The projection is stopping before it hits a surface, hence the “flat” look.

thank you man… you saved my life !

Not a problem. Glad to help.
