Zmapper Issue (fixed!)

Hi there guys,

I was wondering if someone has had this issue before.
I made a model with zspheres, sculpted to a level 6, with 1.2 mil. after finishing, I exported to max2009 and and unwrapped. after re-importing and having no problem with the mesh i went to zmapper to check the uvs layout, and I found this surprise.

any idea why this is happening? how can i solve this issue?

Its the first time this happends to me and I havent changed my pipeline.

This is a UV’s issue; not a zmapper issue.


  • Set # of Digits in the Max export dialogue to 6
  • You may need to reset the xForm in Max
  • It looks like a point is too close to the edge of the UV space, which is causing it to be pulled across the map. Always leave a buffer around the edges of your maps.

I’m getting what i think is a similar problem, i have tried everything you have suggested on your numerous posts Aurick :stuck_out_tongue: but i keep getting this.
