i was trying to bake a normal map at work and it kept giving me terrible maps. i thought somehow my uvs got flipped? anyway i found out that the zmapper doesn’t work with uv groups anymore? that thread i found the info from was quite old, anyone know if zmapper was ever updated and i’m suppose to get a new plugin or something? if i uvgroup then split up my mesh ill have these terrible seams so i’m not sure what i do…anyone know what to do?
You’re using ZBrush 3.1 on the PC? All you need to do is:
- Press Tool>Polygroups>Uv Groups
- Press Tool>SubTool>GrpSplit
