Zmapper and normals...

I have some sticky problems with my Zmapper…
I want to start using the adaptive uv tiles because it seems to be so easy to map your meshes…

I took the demosoldier tool and deleted all of its subtools
I devided it to 5
I took my 1 and made adaptive uv tiles
Zmapper
I took the best quality maya pre and created a normalmap
unfortunatly the result was a mess…
some parts of the preview were good and clear but other reagions (i think those which were outside the 1 mesh) were cut of.

I hope everyone have understood me and there are some ideas…

The tiles mapping methods are only good with Object normal maps. Tangent maps, due to the math behind them, flip the normals at each UV seam. Since tiles mapping methods place those seams in visible areas, that’s not good with a Tangent normal map.
