Zmapper 2048 limit?

Is it wrong, I hope so. Have Zmapper still a 2048 size limit on the normal map :confused: .

I sitting whit Zbrush 2, and if I cant get out a normal map on 4000-8000 for 3D max, was the point for me to uppgrade :cry: ?

Is Mudbox a better solution for me? :cry:
Or is my knowledge of Zmapper smal? :slight_smile:

I have a 4096 map right here in front of me. If I remember right ZM simply
uses the size of your current texture.

Start by using Texture/New after setting the size to 4096x4096

If you get the "A bitmap allocate’ error message in ZMapper when you try to create a 4096 NM, quit out of ZBrush and then restart it and try again: it should work then.
