abyss103 – Thanks!

delima1975 – Thank you!

groBoto – My pleasure! Being able to add a bevel to edges sounds really nice–a tight bevel would probably help keep them sharp during subdivision while smoothing the larger areas.

I can’t believe i missed this thread, I really like what you have here Marsyas.
I’ll be coming back to see your new post.

Hey Alphagsv,

Just to be clear – this is Marsyas’s work & thread… my GroBoto mesh was just a ‘seed’…

The ‘door’ image above was just to illustrate a point about groBoto unified meshes vs. ZBrush’s Unify Mesh tool – probably should have posted it on my own thread to avoid confusion.

-groBoto (Darrel)

Thanks for Clearing that up for me groBoto, I appreciate that.

hahaha, very funny and great scuplt, very nice , man:+1:

alphagsv – Thank you!

barbarossaX – Thanks!

groBoto – No problem! I haven’t been updating this thread very frequently anyway.

I decided to try some color on my Action Hero Contest entry which I didn’t finish in time. I’ll probably add any updates here while the original thread is locked. (http://www.pixolator.com/zbc/showthread.php?t=66752)

Very nice thread you have going here! Yes I remember your Action Hero entry. A real shame you didn’t finish on time but I’m glad to see you are still working on it. She’s looking good in those colours :+1:

very creative and fresh work !
nice job !

Really cool colour test Buddy!

Wow, the poly painted version of Gorgonna is really beautiful :+1: :+1: Been looking forward to see this character in color!

Sorry about the delay, had to fight off some food poisoning. :stuck_out_tongue:

Did some more work on Gorgonna:

Part of me thinks I’m spending too much time on this though and need to move on.

Anyway, thanks for looking!

Captain Sensible: Thanks! I’m actually glad I didn’t finish–would’ve taken the fun out of it for me.

ced66: Thank you!

piz: Thanks, piz!

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks! Glad to see you’re one of the finalists!

The texturing is looking amazing so far. I’m glad to see you’re finishing this character.

Hi Marsyas,

Glad to see this beautiful updates of Gorgonna.
Great work!

Very cool Mats and Colours, Buddy! Compliments again!

Nice and clean. Reminds me of Michael Parks work.
Looking forward to seeing more!

Cool update. The colours are sweet! I hear you on not rushing your entry. I rushed mine and consequently didn’t quite get where I wanted with her. I fully respect you on bowing out so you can work at a more comfortable pace. And it looks like it’s paying off :+1:

More work on 'Gonna…

I figured out the color scheme for the rest of the parts ahead of time so it’s going faster. Was sorta probing in the dark with the head and torso…

Thanks for looking!

jackdaniels666: Thanks! I looked at your duck hero–funny stuff! I like how you completed a whole scene. I usually shy away from such complexity.

Moni-Poroni: Thank you! Your hero turned out really cute. :+1:

piz: Thanks, piz!

dadabase: Thank you! Never thought of it–nice to be compared to such a great artist.

Captain Sensible: Thanks! I think part of me just didn’t want to burn myself out again like I did with the Scared Silly contest.

Great work, I really like it. :+1:

She’s coming out well. Her costume design is really different.
