Here’s a silly Baroness…

[baroness_web3.jpg]

I took liberties with her uniform…

Etcher: Thanks! I’ll upload some more but I still wonder about their usefulness.

nice, looks better than the movie, at least you know its her.
love the nick cave! and the girl with green hair, she looks like olivia wilde and that brown one looks like mischa barton, and of course i love the other pieces too, i had a feeling a few weeks ago looking at your deviant site that you were beta testing. i have to say i’m glad they upgraded the ol’ zketchpad. it was nice to paint in z again, i’ve done it a bit over the years but got frustrated with various issues, so thanks for helping them get it together.

is the brown sketchy one called classic supposed to look like mucha sketches?

Thanks for the advice and yes it’s the Nick Cave portrait. Cool Works:)

Really Nice!

My compliments.

Hey Geoff, just saw the video. I love it! I could watch these kind of videos the whole day long. I`m looking forward to seeing much more.
The z-illy Baroness looks fantastic. Great style!

great paintings!!! :+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:+1:small_orange_diamond:)

Thanks, all! I’m having trouble sleeping so here’s a few more vids. The HD versions play larger on YouTube if you want to see them bigger.

spaceboy412: Thanks! Love the Tori, btw. I would’ve posted in that thread if I hadn’t already had some there. The brown one is simply named classic cause I thought it had more of a classic feel and couldn’t think of a better name.

SpaceMan: Thanks, SpaceMan! Actually, I did have a few WIPs in the beta thread–I’ll try to dig them up.

Cherea: Thank you!

Moni-Poroni: Thanks, Moni! Glad you like it. I think I borrow much of my cartoony style from Bruce Timm, whose work I love.

Gary Komar: Thank you!

Geoff, thank you so much for putting these vids up! I really love the paintings, and seeing them come to life is so awesome! When I watch you build up the images, I get the feeling you are sculpting with paint! Great! These three would be so cool to sculpt and polypaint! :+1: !

THANK YOU SO MUCH for posting more videos! :):+1: Great to see you at work!

Here’s just a few more vids and a WIP from my beta thread. Again, the HD versions are bigger on YouTube.

Painting with markers...

Thanks for looking!

Etcher: Thanks, Etcher! I tend to feel like I’m trying to sculpt when I’m painting.

Moni-Poroni: Thanks, Moni! Hope they’re somewhat helpful, even if my methods fluctuate a lot.

Thanks for putting these up! Great stuff! (btw had fun yesterday on re-viewing the previous vids you posted: I pressed play on all 3 vids and watched you paint 3 pieces simultaneously: intense!)

Thought I’d post some 3.5R3 beta images so I can promptly disappear again.

Thanks for looking! And thanks to Pixologic for such a great release!

disappear again to use z4?
the vamp girl and start/new are so really great, you put those new tools to use really well, i always love your sense of design, form and color.
you also seem to like hiding girls eyes which is something i used to do too, i think for me it was reading intron depot #1 back when that first came out but maybe something else.
looking foreward to more!

Heeeey, youre back! :) Looooong time no talk! Now I know what you and some other certain people were doing all the time. Hehe :) I already saw one of your ladys in the R3 thread and Im glad that you`ve posted more great images now. The silver armor looks amazing! I see you had a lot of fun. :):+1:

Wow nice art dump. Keep them coming!

Wow…love the vamp girl…really amazing

Thanks, all! Btw, Marcus Civis posted a simple walkthrough of the Vampire armor in the ZBrush wiki: http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Vamp_Armor_by_Geoff_Priest

It's linked to from the Unified Skinning section and the GroupLoops section: [http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Unified_Skin](http://www.pixologic.com/docs/index.php/Unified_Skin) Unified skinning is a great way to quickly and evenly retopologize for further sculpting. And with the new Valance Smoothing, a clean topology isn't really necessary for clean results.

Here are a view modeling views of the images above:

Thanks for looking!

spaceboy412: Thanks! Dunno if I’ll be that lucky. Do I always hide girl eyes… hmmmm. I’ll have to analyze that.

Moni-Poroni: Thanks, Moni! Hehe, I was actually trying to slink away from the forums but the beta testing drew me back in…

DAnconia: Thank you!

SolidSnakexxx: Thanks, SolidSnakexxx!

Wow, that’s some awesome hard edge stuff. I’m not confident using the hard edge tools as yet. I just make experimental random stuff. I look forward to seeing a hard edge model made from a accurate reference picture.

Hey Geoff, amazing work! Thanks for sharing your images and knowledge! Great sculpts as usual. I always love the colours you put into your work too :+1:

Hey! I’m new to Zbrush… Can you please post a tutorial for doing that? thanks in advance…
