I need some opinions regarding how best to achieve a purpose in 3D art. Basically, what I want to do is make 3D “snapshots.” Maybe some VERY light animating, but mostly something akin to setting up a diorama or stage/characters and taking pictures from multiple angles. Over the past few months I’ve tried the tutorials for any program I could get my hands on. I’m very impressed with ZBrush and can see its potential in creating objects, especially people.
Here’s the question: I want to model people/objects in ZBrush and export them to something more fit for scenery and the whole “stage” setup. What would you all say is the most feasible program to do that with? I believe Carrara or another of Daz’s programs looks to do the trick, especially with their libraries of prefabs to work with, but I’ve seen lots of conflicting arguments on what program works best. Also ease/success rate of exporting ZBrush models is a factor. I want to make a sound choice since this will encompass a lot of work so I ask anyone out there to sound off on this.
