ZBrush's Poseable Symmetry is BROKEN!

Hi There,

ZBrush has been testing my patience with the unreliable nature of Poseable Symmetry.
I’ve got a project that absolutely needs it to work as intended - but for some reason even the simplest mesh seems to break ZBrush.

I’ve attached a simple OBJ to illustrate the problem.
The mesh is PERFECTLY symmetrical as far as I can tell - and I’ve checked in multiple programs.

Smart Resym finds 100% symmetry.
RySym finds 73% symmetry.
Poseable Symmetry finds 2.4% symmetry.

Anyone have any ideas why ZBrush cant handle this one basic thing?
Thanks.

Poseable symmetry won’t work if there is more than one axis of symmetry. See my adjustment of your mesh - poseable symmetry works fine.

Thanks for your response - that works, but how about this mesh?:
It only has one axis of symmetry, but poseable symmetry is a no-go.

I don’t know why but ZBrush does seem to like an edgeloop in there.

Yeah, it’s strange - I end up having to throw in some crazy edgeloops into my meshes just to get it to recognize that the mesh is infact symmetrical - and even then sometimes it still doesn’t work.

Unless there are any other ideas, I guess we can consider this a bug report.
Thanks for your help Marcus.
