Having some problems of exporting normal map from ZBrush and importing it in 3dMax.

say what I’m doing wrong? generating a map in ZBrush or put it in 3dMax.

I generated many different maps in ZBrush, but a result the same. In 3dMax a picture looks flat. Maybe the problem in seting the normal map in 3dMaxMaterials (I create Vreymtl and in the slot of Bump throw normal bump, and in the slot of normal bump throw a map in psd/bmp)

looks like a Vray issue. Try using that map with a MR material and see if that works.

It could also be a UV issue. post up some images of the normal map and the UV layout if you would be so kind.

MR? mental Ray?

i did it with a MentalRay and with a Standart render. Result the same.

I get UV in Zbrush by pressing on Texture>GUVTiles. Made my UV in both directions of MorfTarget. Is it enough or not?

I think that problem exactly in normalbump because the map of displecement lies down normally. How it should be [font=Wingdings]J

I think I simply not able to do normalBump. I just simple throw NormalBump in a slot of Bump or is it necessary do something else?
