hey guys could someone please tell me what the dots mean below our username on this site… and why are some yellow and others are grey
It’s indicitive of how many times you’ve posted on the forum.
I think dot and color changes happen at the every 100 interval.
BTW, one thread equals one count. (multiple posts to one thread only get you one count…he hee)
I’m due for a third dot. 
By the way, the reason I haven’t been posting recently, is because I’m busy with my next computer class. They’re concentrating on OCAML which is making me tear my hair out. In addition, my computer at home died on me.

I’m not so sure about that color change. So far, I’ve never had anything but white. Maybe it has to do with the number of uploads, as opposed to the number of posts? Digits was the first person I noticed with the orange color, and he uploads like a maniac.

I looked at my dots (7 orange) and realized that according to my thoughts ((100 posts per change)) I was wrong…

Well, you start off with one dot with your first post. So since you have over 600 posts, you have 7 dots. The color turns orange after 5 dots. It’s the “no dot people” that you need to watch out for.

well it wasn’t a very clear animation all you have to do is take a snap shot of his name with the dots then take a snap shot of just 1 orange dot…
i use flash you just take his name in there and each frame you just keep moveing the orange dot out a bit…

Do you ever utilize tweening and paths?
After reading your explanation I thought I’d ask. It makes the animation run much smoother, decreases the file size, and speeds up build time…alot.

yeah i could of tween it or guide layer it.
but it was just a short one i just threw in like 6 frames…
yeah it was a bit jumpy and the pic wasn’t clear LOL i was just goffing around and made a fast one.
and ill probley would had to go re read guide layer.
