Zbrush4 Polypaint->texture issue

Heya, I just got my Zbrush4 upgrade and I thought I would try out all the basic steps for creating a new mesh and texture and I’m having issues with the polypaint-> texture option under the tools texture menu. These are the steps…

  1. Select sphere3d
  2. Initialise Sphere 3d to my desired h and v divide etc
  3. Press Make Polymesh3D
  4. Fill object with white colour
  5. Paint on a few swirly lines to test polypaint - texture
  6. press polypaint - texture button
  7. get undesired result as shown in the image below.

I hope someone can help me, I can’t live without my polypaint -> texture button! :frowning:

My PC specs are
Windows 7 64 bit,
8gm ddr3 ram
AMD Phenom quad core CPU
ATI Radeon HD 5800 GPU

Hum… do you have uvs… hum…

Turns out there’s a post at the top of this forum describing this issue and the OP has reported it as a bug as it appears that the UV is not being created properly or something. Anyway, I can probably work around it for the time being using 3.5 but what a pain in the bottom! :confused:
