zbrush z mapper issues: jaggy normals

hello everyone

since im new to this all normal thingie i dont know how to call it. im experimenting with normals in zbrush but i’m stuck now with this weird jagyness:

basically, i import LP, i Store the morph target, then subdivide and sculpt. then im making a new texture and then i go to level 1 and start zmapping. i checked tangent normals and pressed create normal map but what im getting always is the jaggyness as in the image above.

thanks in advance for looking at this.

It looks like either your points have gotten scrambled somehow or like you have overlapping UV’s.

i checked the uv’s as you said and it fixed the problem. i had some uvs overlapping the 1x1 space. fixed that and it’s working ; ) thanks for the hint !
